Terms of service
Last updated 12 July 2026
The deal between you and TwinTrader. The most important part is the risk section, so it is not buried at the bottom.
The risk you are taking
Options trading involves substantial risk of loss. TwinTrader is not an investment adviser; signals you copy are not TwinTrader’s recommendations. Past caller performance does not predict future results. You are responsible for all trades placed through your connected brokerage account.
TwinTrader uses AI to read your caller’s messages and turn them into orders. A message can be misread: the wrong ticker, the wrong amount, the wrong direction, or a sell that was never intended. When you switch a bot to live, you accept that TwinTrader’s interpretation may be wrong and that any resulting buy or sell, including a complete exit of your position, is your risk and not ours or your caller’s.
Limit orders may never fill. Buying at the asking price pays the spread, which can be wide on illiquid contracts. A stop loss is a trigger, not a guaranteed sale price, and fast markets can fill far below it. Anything a take-profit ladder does not sell remains your position and your responsibility, including through expiry. Options can expire worthless.
What TwinTrader is
TwinTrader is a tool. It reads the Discord channels you select, works out the trade behind the words, and places orders in the brokerage account you connected. It is not a broker, not a fund, and not an investment adviser. It does not hold your money.
Your account and your bots
- You must be old enough to open a brokerage account in your jurisdiction.
- Every bot starts in watch-only. It records what it would have done and places no orders. Nothing trades for real until you switch that bot live.
- You are responsible for the settings you choose: the callers you follow, the budget per trade, the buy mode, and the exit strategy.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Your brokerage and your Discord
You connect your own brokerage account through SnapTrade. TwinTrader can place orders and read balances and positions. It cannot withdraw or move your money. Your Discord connection is read only: TwinTrader never posts, replies, or types as you.
You are responsible for making sure that acting on a given caller’s messages does not breach that caller’s or that server’s own terms.
Availability
We try to keep TwinTrader running, but we do not promise it will always be available. It can go down, a broker’s API can go down, and Discord can go down. Where a stop is watched in software rather than held at your broker, that protection depends on TwinTrader being online. Trades can be missed, delayed, or fail.
Limits of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TwinTrader is not liable for trading losses, missed trades, misread messages, delayed or failed orders, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. You use it at your own risk.
Ending it
You can stop using TwinTrader and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that abuses the service or breaks these terms.
Changes
We will tell you before any material change to these terms takes effect. Continuing to use TwinTrader after that means you accept the new terms.
